10-2-08 Appointment

Hello Everyone! I looked and saw that there have been over 380 hits to our site since Monday....WOW! I guess you are all just as anxious as us to find out when Thomas and Madelynn will make their debut. Shannon and I went in today for the weekly BPP/NST and visit with Dr. Holsten. All looks really well. There has been NO change at all despite my contractions. I even had one that looked like a real doozy on the monitor and took my breath...but again, only Braxton Hicks. Dr. Holsten has scheduled us for induction on Monday, October 6th. I never dreamed that we would actually have to be induced. Of course we could still go this weekend but if not, induction awaits us on Monday. If you know me at all....you know this whole scheduled thing goes right along with my personality! I already have my checklist of things to do Saturday and Sunday (along with football) so that we are all ready. However and whenever they come, Shannon and I are thrilled! We can hardly wait to hold our little angels. Everyone has been SO amazing to us at MCG. We feel like we have truly made more than friends there...we have family there. From Dr. Holsten to Nurse Fran to the ladies at the front Radonna and Karen.....we feel right at home with each visit. We are looking forward to what Monday brings. I plan to get some rest and enjoy the football on Saturday and be ready to go Monday! Hugs and blessings! We will continue to keep you posted!!!

P.S. I have a picture of Mrs. Fran, our NST nurse. She has been so good to us. She and Shannon have a very unique relationship.....as only one can have with Shannon. Love you Mrs. Fran!
