Notice my face in photo 1...I was watching the chickens close...I was so worried one was going to peck the angels.....

Here are just a few of the pics for our Saturday trip....again, we joined Jackie, Cindy, Donna, Stacey, Michelle, and Lauren at Noccalula Falls outside of Gadsden. It was a full ...fun day!!! The rain hit us a couple of times but we trucked along and enjoyed the animals, grounds, and choo choo! I have to admit...things sure do change once you have children. I used to love to pet animals and get close to them, I loved hiking and seeing the different things from the past....now....I have to remind myself to relax as all I think about are germs from the animals, the animals attacking, wasp, the angels getting too hot, etc. I guess that is the mind of a mommy!

Growing by leaps and bounds.....

We have had a great weekend...a full weekend...but a great weekend! We spent the day Saturday with family in Gadsden (Donna, Cindy, Jackie, Stacey, friends Michelle and Lauren) and toured Noccalula Falls.....it was a beautiful place with animals, history, and a great train. It did rain on us but we were not slowed one bit! I will share some pictures soon. Today, the angels and I spent the day resting! Shannon did some food plot work down in Eufaula so the angels and I saw this rainy, overcast day as an opportunity for rest, play, and just down time! Here are some pics from our day and also from our play upstairs when daddy got home! They LOVE their daddy! Both angels are standing briefly on their own, though I've only been able to capture Thomas so far....they will be walking soon!!! I don't know where I'll find the energy to keep up with them then!!! Every day is a new day filled with wonderful adventures and blessings! I love it!!!

My pal, Macy, and I had a great evening last night. We had dinner at Olive Garden and then headed for a wonderful night of painting! I chose this print to go in Morgan's nursery (once we get it started) and am thrilled at how it turned out!!! Macy and I look forward to doing this again and having more friends join us!!! What a great experience!!!!

Morgan-24 weeks

How blessed we are....today we had 2 appointments in Columbus. The angels had a well visit check-up with their new pediatrician....Dr. Cheek. Everything looked great! Thomas is weighing in at 18lbs 9 ounces (5th percentile for weight and 50th for height) and Maddy is 20lbs and 5 ounces (55th percentile weight and 50th percentile height). Dr. Cheek showed no concern over Thomas' weight.....she said he will catch up and just may be the smaller of the two. We were happy to hear that everything looked good!! They both got flue shots and anemia tests done. We then left and headed straight for my heart monitoring appt for Morgan. What a blessing it turned out to be. My normal Perinatologist was in and he reassured me all is looking great. We even got some great pictures of Morgan. I do have to have the heartbeat checked weekly but it can be alternated between my OB and Dr. Stauffer the Perinatologist. The day started with bath time...you can see Maddy all wet-head and Thomas scooting about after his bath....with his comb-over. Then it was fun time with Chez Ami. Maddy had a blast drinking from Mamaw's cup and entertaining us all and Thomas discovered a love of ice! I also am adding a few pics of just a few of the chothes that we had spread around the house for those looking. Again...I am here if you have any questions! Thank you to Nana (my mom) and Mamaw for driving up from Eufaula for the party and for bringing the DELICIOUS tray of goodies! Thank you to Nonnie and Cindy for the extra hands with the angels and all the kiddos. Thank you to all those that came by to look, buy, visit, and just chat! What a great day!!!! One more party to go today and the trunk goes home but I will be selling all season long....there is a great Christmas line if you are interested....BLESSINGS!

I don't know how it is at your house....but at our house there is nothing better than when daddy walks through the door!!!! I have to get in line when it comes to getting a hug from daddy...notice Maddy's look in the second photo ....she is giving me that "this is my daddy" look....she LOVES her dada!
